2. General information

We process personal data only to the extent necessary to operate this website and to handle your inquiries. The legal bases are Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures and performance of a contract), Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and reliable operation of the website) and Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (statutory retention obligations).

This website does not set cookies and does not use any analytics, tracking or advertising services. Fonts, images, videos and map graphics are delivered from our own server; no third-party content is loaded. Data is transmitted in encrypted form via HTTPS.

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd., Larnaca, Cyprus. The data is processed in a data center in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Hostinger.

When you access the website, the server automatically processes technical access data (server log files): IP address, date and time of access, page accessed, amount of data transferred, browser type and operating system, and the previously visited page (referrer). This data is used solely to ensure operation, security and error analysis (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). It is not merged with other data and is automatically deleted after a short period.

4. Contact and inquiry forms

You can use the forms on this website to submit trade inquiries, request a car service appointment or send us a general message. In doing so, we process the information you enter in the respective form:

• Trade inquiry (contact page, car and truck tire trade): trade division, company, contact person, email address, phone number (optional), message
• Car service appointment: name, email address, phone number (optional), vehicle (optional), requested service, tire size (optional), preferred date, message (optional)
• General message: name, email address, subject (optional), message

In addition, the form used, the language and the time of submission are transmitted. Your IP address is not stored by the form. To protect against automated spam submissions, the forms contain an invisible check field; no personal data is collected in the process.

The processing serves to handle and respond to your inquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR; for general messages Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). After submitting, you will receive an automatic confirmation of receipt with a summary of your details at the email address provided.

Email processing: Inquiries are delivered to our mailbox contact@mt-tires.com. We operate our email mailboxes with Google Workspace provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, on the basis of a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. Processing by Google LLC in the USA cannot be ruled out; Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, and the EU Commission's standard contractual clauses apply in addition (Art. 45 and 46 GDPR).

Retention period: Inquiries that do not lead to a business transaction are deleted once processed, at the latest six months after receipt. Correspondence relating to business transactions is retained in accordance with German commercial and tax law (Section 257 HGB, Section 147 AO) for six or ten years respectively (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

5. Transfer to the workshop contract partner

The car tire service at Bückeburger Allee 7 is provided by our contract partner Bozkurt Kfz-Meisterbetrieb, Tuncay Bozkurt, Bückeburger Allee 7, 30453 Hannover, Germany. To arrange a service appointment, we pass on your contact and appointment details – name, phone number or email address, requested service and preferred date – to the contract partner, who will contact you directly to arrange the appointment. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Your data is not transferred to any other third parties.

6. Contact by email or phone

If you contact us by email or phone, we process the data you provide in order to handle your request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). For emails, the information on email processing and retention periods in section 4 applies accordingly.

7. External links

This website contains links to external websites, in particular for the attribution of the map graphic (German Federal Agency for Cartography and Geodesy, GovData). When you follow these links, the privacy policy of the respective provider applies. No content from these providers is embedded in our website.
